Where We Are

Tropic Sail is based in Townsville, midway between Cairns and the Whitsunday's.  Townsville is the capital of Tropical North Queensland and a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.

Tropic Sail's office and charter fleet is a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. Our office is located at Shop 7, Breakwater Marina, The Strand and is in close proximity to supermarkets, bottle shops, chemists, bakeries, pubs, cafes, restaurants and accommodation houses.

Townsville caters for all major airlines and is serviced with direct flights daily from all east coast capital cities.  On average, flights start from $120 ex Brisbane, $130 ex Sydney and $170 ex Melbourne.  Also on offer are daily low fare services ex Brisbane with connections available from Melbourne, Sydney, Darwin, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra.

Smaller intrastate airlines also fly regularly into Townsville from many other Queensland regional centres.  If the scenic route is more your style, daily bus and train services are available or if driving, follow the Bruce Highway - 349kms south of Cairns or 270kms north of the Whitsunday's.
