Additional ChargesDamage Waiver LevyA non refundable Damage Waiver Levy provides the charterer with a No Blame Policy that protects you, the charterer, against any cost incurred to rectify minor accidental damage to the vessel and its fittings or minor accidental loss of inventory from the vessel, provided that at all times the charter vessel is operated in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the charter agreement. This levy is not Bareboat Liability Insurance (Third Party Insurance) and will not cover you for damage to another vessel, property or persons. Bareboat Liability Insurance is entirely optional and seeking a quote is recommended.
All fees are applied on a maximum of 5 charter nights. Charters longer than 5 nights incur no further fees. Marine Park FeesTo help protect and care for the World Heritage areas you will be sailing in, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority applies Marine Park Fees to all persons that partake of activities in these zones. Cost: $21 per person per charter (includes $6 admin fee). Fuel & GasBareboat Charters - fuel & gas is payable on return of vessel to Breakwater Marina. Skippered and Package Options - fuel & gas are normally costed in advance and depend on vessel, itinerary & duration - POA. The option of paying for fuel & gas on return of vessel to marina at end of charter is available on direct bookings only. One Way Relocation Charters - a fuel & gas bond is taken before commencement of charter with the balance refunded once costs are determined on vessel return to base. Short Charter Cleaning FeeAll charters that fall under 5 nights incur a short charter cleaning fee. The following costs apply per vessel per charter. These rates are open to discount for supply of own linen and basic staple items and only available for direct bookings - please ask us at time of enquiry.
Optional ExtrasSkipper/Sail GuideIf you have the need for a refresher course before setting sail we can provide a skipper / sail guide to set you on the right course.
Vessel RelocationIf you would prefer to pick up your vessel at either Palm, Orpheus or Magnetic Island instead of Townsville we can certainly arrange that together with your accommodation and flights/transfers. Or maybe you are pushed for time and would like to sail it only one way and have us return it to base, then the below relocation fees are applicable.
