(It's not easy trying to eat your way through kilo's of steak and prawns, but someone had to do it !)They are business's we personally, along with thousands of other locals shop at each week. They are all very successful in their field and guaranteed for their quality products and competitive prices. Each business has an order list available for you to download, fill in and send back to us or ask us to send you the provisioning list when you book your charter.When taking a charter with Tropic Sail we give you three options to choose from in regards to shopping for your holiday supplies.OPTION 1 - FULL PROVISIONINGSave precious holiday time by getting Tropic Sail to do all the shopping for you. All you have to do is enter the The Shops page, print out the order forms from each shop, choose what you want and either fax or post them back to us. We will have it all delivered and stored away on the boat in time for your arrival. All we ask is that your orders are in no later than two weeks before you charter to allow time for the local Shop owners to have sufficient supplies of stock. If you're orders arrive after the two week deadline, supplies cannot be guaranteed to be filled. OPTION 2 - PARTIAL PROVISIONINGThis option is for those people that don't mind buying the basics themselves but when it comes to certain supplies such as meat, seafood, fruit and vegetables and gourmet products they choose to buy the best - usually at no more than supermarket prices. Tropic Sail has sourced the best suppliers for their provisioning products in the region. Have a look at the The Shops page for a more detailed description of each product supplier. To take advantage of partial provisioning just print out the shopping lists for the supplies you want and fax or post your orders to us no later than two weeks before your charter. You can shop for the rest of your supplies on arrival in Townsville. OPTION 3 - SELF PROVISIONINGSelf Provisioning is for people that have some time up their sleeves before their charter and prefer to do their own shopping. We can provide you with a map of Townsville with closest supermarkets etc. listed for your convenience. |
